Thanks you both of you for your quick response.

if I enter as you said above it will work.no doubt.

But requirement is as follows.

1. The moment we open input form  it shold pick the system date as current period and from there it should consider past 6 months and future 6 months

Eg    2014.01 is current period

past periods are from 2014.01 to 06.2013

Future periods are from 2014.01 to 06.2014

and periods get adjusted accordigly in putform

for this i put the logic below logic

=IF(MONTH(TODAY())>9,YEAR(TODAY())&"."&MONTH(TODAY()),YEAR(TODAY())&"."& MONTH(TODAY()))

for respective periods putting  the logic as below

=EPMMemberOffset(,H1,-1) or +1

Now  i want substitute this above formula in actual period( from I1 to I4) which brings rolling forecasting periods(12) automatically without user intervention
