Seems like the problem is not how to determine the number of working days but how to determine last Friday. For this you can use FM DAY_IN_WEEK with SY-DATUM and count back from there. E.g. if today is a Tuesday then last Friday was 4 days ago. With this calculated date and the input from the user you can calculate your number of working days.
