We are using the native Mobile BI app in addition to testing direct OpenDocument links as we are encouraging our development team to build responsive applications that can be consumed on any device capable of rendering HTML5/CSS3. With this approach we are hoping to have applications with wide reach.
We've been able to achieve this by making the desktop experience (i.e. BI Launch Pad/OpenDocument) externally accessible so that non iOS devices can also consume Design Studio applications.
