If the crosstab is all that you want to show in the report, delete the grouping on the report (keep your group formula field), put the crosstab in the report footer, and, if necessary, add the group formula field as the first object in either the columns or rows (depending on how you want the data to appear). This will give you a single crosstab in the report.
